Mohamed Okba is a distinguished leader in the pharmaceutical industry with over 18 years of experience in public policy, regulatory systems, health economics, and outcomes research. As the Head of Regulatory & Public Affairs and HEOR at Otsuka Pharmaceutical, he has been instrumental in developing and executing regulatory strategies that have successfully introduced new products to the market while ensuring compliance with complex global regulatory frameworks.
Mohamed’s expertise lies in strategic planning, regulatory risk management, and stakeholder engagement, particularly within the African and Middle Eastern markets. His leadership in health economics has been pivotal in advancing the integration of economic analysis into regulatory processes, driving business reform, and fostering innovation in the pharmaceutical industry.
In addition to his executive role, Mohamed is a respected lecturer in pharmacoeconomics and health technology assessment (HTA).
