Dr. Yara brings over 18 years of extensive experience in Quality and Regulatory Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry and government sector. She is currently the Regional Regulatory Director at Pfizer, leading the Specialty Care Business Unit across the Middle East, Russia, Africa, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.

In her role, Yara provides strategic direction and oversight to the regional regulatory team, focusing on regulatory strategies for new, innovative products, expansions, acquisitions, and life cycle management. Her work is instrumental in improving patient access to breakthrough medicines.

Dr. Yara is Known for her integrity and commitment to business ethics, She is a dedicated team player and an inspiring leader. She was selected for Pfizer’s Leadership Aspiring Future Talents (LAFTA) program, which supports leadership development, especially for women within the organization

Earlier in her career, Dr. Yara held a key position in Medical Devices Release and Registration at the Egyptian Board of Health. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from 6th of October University in Cairo.
