Mr. Chacha Sammy Nyanswi is a highly experienced Integrated Regulatory Information Management System (IRIMS) Consultant, Project Manager and Implementation Team Lead at SoftClans Technologies Limited. With more than 12 years of experience in digital transformation, regulatory technology and software project delivery, he has led and supported IRIMS implementations across several African markets, including Tanzania, Zambia, Rwanda, Botswana, Nigeria, Namibia, Uganda, Ghana and Burkina Faso, as well as the ZAZIBONA collaborative initiative.

His expertise covers the complete system implementation lifecycle, including regulatory business process analysis, requirements definition, solution design, workflow automation, system configuration, data migration, interoperability, validation, stakeholder engagement, capacity building, deployment and post-implementation support. His work spans product registration, inspections, laboratory management, pharmacovigilance, clinical trials, import and export control, finance, electronic document management and regulatory reporting.

Chacha holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science, a Project Management Professional qualification, and a Professional Masters in Capacity Building in Astronautics from Sapienza University of Rome. He is also pursuing a Master of Science in Information Technology Management at the University of Nairobi. He is passionate about using secure, scalable and sustainable digital technologies to strengthen regulatory systems across Africa.
