Mr. Peter Otieno is the Chief Executive Officer of GS1 Kenya and a distinguished professional in GS1 Standards, traceability, and supply chain transformation, with over 25 years of experience driving efficiency, innovation, and digital transformation across industries.

He holds a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management and brings extensive expertise in traceability, project management, and strategic leadership. He is also an ACPM (Accredited Certified Professional Mediator). Through his work, he has contributed to advancing the adoption of GS1 Standards and digital traceability solutions that strengthen supply chains and support a more connected and efficient ecosystem.

Beyond his professional career, Mr. Otieno is an accomplished author of two books, Herding the Zebra and Robbing God’s Gift. He is also a passionate cook, reflecting his creativity, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning.
