Makomani Siyanga is a public health and regulatory executive currently serving as the Director General of the Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority (ZAMRA).

He is a fully registered pharmacist with the Health Professions Council of Zambia, and with a career spanning over 22 years, he possesses extensive expertise across academia, professional pharmacy practice, and pharmaceutical regulation.

Over 18 years of his career have been specifically dedicated to medicines regulation, during which he has managed quality assurance systems and enforced standard compliance for medicinal products in Zambia.

His regulatory footprint extends internationally, highlighted by his active participation in World Health Organization activities and his contributions to the Zazibona Collaborative Initiative for Medicines Registration.
