Nourhan El Naggar is a Medical Device Regulatory Affairs professional with more than eight years of experience in medical device regulation, scientific evaluation, and regulatory policy development. She currently serves as Manager of the Scientific Evaluation Unit at the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA), where she leads the scientific assessment of medical devices and contributes to the development of regulatory frameworks and market authorization pathways.

Her expertise includes medical device classification, conformity assessment, regulatory reliance, international regulatory benchmarking, and medical device localization and local manufacturing strategies. She is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Quality Management. Nourhan is passionate about regulatory harmonization, strengthening local manufacturing capabilities, and advancing medical device regulatory systems across Egypt and Africa
