Dr Konan Yao Cyriaque Armand is a regulatory pharmacist specializing in health products, public health, health systems strengthening, and digital health. He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a Master’s degree in Industrial Pharmacy and Cosmetology from Félix Houphouët-Boigny University. He has gained diverse professional experience within public institutions, a pharmaceutical regulatory authority, and healthcare consulting firms.

He currently works at the Ivorian Pharmaceutical Regulatory Authority (AIRP) as a regulatory pharmacist, where he contributes to the assessment and registration of health products, as well as to the implementation of regulatory requirements applicable to the pharmaceutical sector.

Previously, he worked within the Ministry of Health, where he contributed to public health activities, health systems strengthening, project coordination, and capacity-building initiatives for healthcare professionals.

His experience in healthcare consulting has also enabled him to develop expertise in analyzing pharmaceutical sector challenges, supporting healthcare stakeholders, and contributing to projects related to Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
