Dr. Jeremiah M. Mumo is Director of Digital Health and Informatics at the Digital Health Agency (DHA), Kenya, with more than 21 years of experience in health information systems, digital health transformation, data management, monitoring and evaluation, and health informatics.

He has extensive experience in the design, development and implementation of integrated health information systems, electronic health records, health information exchange registries, national health data platforms, and digital health strategies. His work has included leading the development and deployment of integrated health management information systems for Kenya’s national referral and teaching hospitals, as well as serving as a WHO DHIS2 Lead Consultant in Botswana, Mauritius, Eswatini and South Sudan.

Dr. Mumo’s expertise spans DHIS2 implementation and customization, universal electronic health records, ICD-10 and ICD-11 integration, health data analytics, interoperability, system security, geospatial analysis, monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and digital health policy development. He has also played a significant role in capacity building, training health professionals, mentoring health informatics teams, and supporting the development of national dashboards and decision-support systems.

With a strong focus on using technology and data to strengthen healthcare delivery, Dr. Mumo brings together technical expertise, strategic leadership and stakeholder collaboration to support the advancement of secure, interoperable and data-driven health systems.
