
Dr David O. Odhiambo is the Executive Director, African Pharmaceutical Network (APN) – a pan-African convenor and advisory firm supporting growth of Africa’s life science industry through workforce development, business advisory services and market shaping interventions. He doubles up as a Senior Advocacy and Public Policy Lead for the Federation of Kenya Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (FKPM) and Adjunct Faculty at the United States International University – Africa (USIU-Africa).
He serves as the Chairperson, Supply Chain Committee of the Kenya Healthcare Federation (KHF), Member of the Health Products and Technologies Committee of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) and Vice Chair to the Advisory Committee of the Pharma Advisory Board – African Regulatory Harmonization Network under the Health Security and Resilience Initiative (HSRI) of the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA).
He previously worked as a Regulatory Affairs Manager – Policy & Strategic Operations for Novartis covering the East and Southern Africa countries, as a Board Director, Kenya Association of Pharmaceutical Industry (KAPI), an Administration Manager, KAPI and Project Associate, Kenya Healthcare Federation (KHF).
He holds an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, Bachelor of Pharmacy from JKUAT, a post graduate certificate in Project Management in Global Health from University of Washington and certificate in Corporate Governance from the Centre for Corporate Governance, Kenya.
