Dr. Emmanuel Djigbenou is an experienced regulatory affairs leader committed to strengthening pharmaceutical regulatory systems and improving access to medicines across sub-Saharan Africa. As Senior Manager, Regulatory Sciences at Pfizer, he oversees regulatory activities supporting the Accord for a Healthier World program, including regulatory strategy, registration, import permits and product lifecycle management.

Throughout his career, he has held increasingly senior regulatory positions at Pfizer and GlaxoSmithKline, with responsibilities covering new product registrations, vaccines, regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with health authorities. He also serves as Chair of the LIPA Regulatory Commission.

Dr Djigbenou holds a Doctorate of State in Pharmaceutical and Biological Sciences from University of Cocody in Abidjan and is a member of the National Order of Pharmacists of Côte d’Ivoire
