Dr. Evah Amwayi is an experienced regulatory affairs leader with over 13 years of experience across Africa’s pharmaceutical and consumer health sectors. She is currently the Regulatory Affairs Lead for Sub-Saharan Africa at Haleon, leading regulatory strategy and stakeholder engagement across multiple markets. She previously held senior regional regulatory leadership roles at GSK, where she drove product registrations, policy engagement, regulatory harmonization, and market access initiatives across East and West Africa.

She also serves as Vice Chair of KAPI, where she engages closely with Kenya’s health authorities and helps advance industry collaboration and the self-care agenda, and as Chair of the Africa Strategy Committee at the Global Self-Care Federation (GSCF). She brings deep expertise in regulatory strategy, policy, and access to medicines across African markets.
