Dr. James Oigo Mokoro is a distinguished pharmaceutical leader with over 20 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical practice, regulatory advocacy, and health policy across East Africa. He serves as the Chairperson of the Kenya Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry (KAPI) – Industry Alliance of Health Products and Technologies, and is the Regulatory Affairs Manager at Reckitt Benckiser East Africa.

A recognized subject matter expert in regulatory compliance, quality systems management, and technical audits (GMP/GDP/GVP), Dr. Mokoro plays a pivotal role in national standardization through KEBS Technical Committees. He is a prominent advocate for public health, leading strategic policy initiatives to combat counterfeit medicines and parallel importation. Dr. Mokoro continues to leverage his expertise to shape robust regulatory frameworks, safeguard patient safety, and advance the regional pharmaceutical ecosystem.
