She is the manager of medical devices vigilance unit at Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA), with eleven years of experience in pharmaceutical vigilance. Lamiaa specialized in medical devices vigilance and is responsible of supervising, management of medical devices safety unit and development of policy proposals, Regulatory and executive regulations for medical devices vigilance illustrating the responsibilities of Marketing Authorization Holders. She holds a master’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. She is a member in IMDRF Adverse Event Terminology working group.
