Dr. Nuran began her tenure at the GS1 global office in January 2020. Within the Healthcare team, she is primarily responsible for enhancing awareness of global GS1 standards and supporting African nations in implementing pharmaceutical traceability using these standards.

Over the past decade, Nuran has overseen system deployments, educated stakeholders, and facilitated trainings, contributing significantly to the digital transformation of supply chains across several African countries.

Nuran firmly believes that leveraging standards can lead to greater efficiencies and, most importantly, improved patient care.

She holds qualifications as a Political Scientist and a global eHealth specialist.
